Monthly Safety Meeting Today Planning For Better Weather Ahead!

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services had its monthly safety meeting today. The safety of our employees and customers is of the utmost importance to us so we ensure that we stay ahead of safety training, safety procedures and that our equipment is safe and our employees know how to use it correctly. Even though it is raining today part of our safety commitment is ensuring that our staff are safe whatever the weather so today our meeting covered heat stress and sun exposure training to ensure that our staff know how to work safely when the sun does show itself. We also focused on trailer safety for open, closed and equipment trailers including correct loading, tie down and visual inspections. Although it does not seem necessary today we know that in New England the summer could be just around the corner so we want our employees to be safe when they are working in hot and humid conditions. Today we have septic inspectors out working, safely, in the rain in North Smithfield, Scituate, Foster, Coventry, West Greenwich and Smithfield RI. If you have any question about septic systems or wish to schedule an appointment please do contact our office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://www.allclearseptic.com where we will be happy to help you.

Do You Need To Include Septic Pumping In Your Spring Maintenance?

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services finds that in April we all start to think about spring cleaning and spring maintenance for our property. If you have a septic system regular maintenance is essential for it to keep working correctly. Fortunately septic pumping, which is the most important maintenance for a septic system, is not usually required annually (unless you have a garbage disposal). It is recommended that you have your septic system pumped every 3-5 years so if it has been a few years since you have had yours done or you can’t remember when it was done last now may be a good time to consider having your system pumped or call us so we can help you determine what would be your best course of action. Signs that you septic system is due for a pump out can include:

  • Septic Back up. If you have sewage backup in your property this could indicate that your septic tank is full or reaching capacity
  • Pooling water. If it hasn’t recently rained yet you are still seeing pools of liquid on your leach field this could be a sign that your system is full. When your tank reaches capacity, solid waste can clog the drain field piping system and force liquid to the surface
  • Slow drains or slow flushing toilets are an indicator that your system is reaching capacity
  • Sewage Odors or smells in your home or yard
  • An overly healthy lawn. If your grass is much greener or lusher than the rest of your yard over the leach field you may have a tank that needs pumping

Today we are providing septic pumping for customers in Plymouth, Marshfield, Carver, Sandwich, Bourne and Halifax MA. If you wish to schedule septic pumping or if you are unsure whether your system needs a pump out please do contact our Norton Office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://www.allclearseptic.com where we will be happy to help you.

Septic System Preventative Maintenance Provided To Customers

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services is fortunate to have many long term customers who we have developed excellent working relationships with. This may seem unusual for a septic company but in addition to repairing and inspecting septic systems we also provide septic system preventative maintenance programs for our customers which many property owners continue to receive for many years because they are so pleased with the service that we provide. We monitor and maintain our customers’ septic systems so they can be confident that their septic system is working correctly and will continue to do so. Nobody likes to have to deal with a septic breakdown but this is especially true for commercial business owners who lose revenue when they are unable to open due to a septic problem. That is why our customers include many local restaurants, takeaways, coffee shops and fast food restaurants. Septic system preventative maintenance is provided discreetly and quickly without causing any downtown in operation which is, of course, essential. We also service residential customers properties and the regularity of our services depends on the septic system and the use it gets. We have customers who have a 2nd home on the Cape who don’t use their system all year round so they do not need their system to be serviced as frequently as a busy fast food restaurant. We generally see our customers on a quarterly, biannual or annual basis, as required. In actuality we don’t even need to ‘see’ our clients when we carry out a service because we can usually access the septic system without the property owners assistance. If you would be interested in hassle free septic system preventative maintenance please do contact our Norton office for details on our septic services or to make an appointment. Today we are already servicing septic systems in East Bridgewater, Mansfield, Norton, Stoughton, Hanson and Sharon MA. You can reach our office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://www.allclearseptic.com

Cesspool Maintenance Ensures It Is Working Correctly and Continues To Do So

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services has cesspool maintenance appointments today in Wayland, Acton, Stow, Carlisle, Marlborough, Northborough and Ayer MA. A cesspool is any pit or container that receives wastewater from a house or building. The term “cesspool” is usually used to refer to an open pit that is lined with rocks or concrete, but an underground tank or holding container that is not connected to a drainfield can also be defined as a cesspool. The main function of cesspools is the storage of wastewater. The use of cesspools may overload the capacity of the soil to remove bacteria, viruses, and phosphorus, and to nitrify ammonia and organic nitrogen compounds. Cesspools are only found servicing older properties because other more efficient means of waste treatment are now available. We provide cesspool services and repairs and have also provided cesspool replacement when required. We recently replaced a cesspool for a customer in Plainfield MA because it was starting to pollute the local groundwater. Ongoing maintenance of your cesspool by having it serviced and having pumpouts is especially important because to sustain the integrity of the environment you need to ensure your cesspool is operating correctly and the surrounding area is not saturated. If you have any questions about cesspools or wish to schedule a cesspool service please do contact our office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://www.allclearseptic.com
