Our septic designs are environmentally conscious whilst also being cost effective and efficient septic systems. We have recently provided septic designs for properties in North Kingstown, Narragansett and Jamestown RI. All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services regularly carry out septic repairs and septic maintenance for customers on all types and parts of septic systems. Today we are replacing a pump panel, float and pump for a customer in Portsmouth RI. Some septic systems include a pump and float. A control float in your septic system is set so that a specific volume of effluent is sent to your drainfield. This specific amount is referred to as a dose. When the effluent in the pump tank rises to the level of the “on” float the pump is activated and pumps the level of the effluent down until it reaches the “off” float setting. Of course if these components are not operating correctly or totally fail you will then require a repair or replacement. We also have other septic repairs and some septic maintenance scheduled today in Tiverton, Middletown, Little Compton and Barrington RI. If you require a septic repair or have questions about your septic system please do contact our office on 508-622-5759 or visit All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services where we would be happy to help you.

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services have a D-Box replacement today in Norton MA. We have extensive experience working with all parts of a septic system and know that all parts need to be working correctly to enable your system to do its job. Most systems are based on the same principles. A conventional septic system consists of a septic tank, a distribution box and a drainfield. Your septic system treats your household wastewater by temporarily holding it in the septic tank where heavy solids and lighter scum are allowed to separate from the wastewater. The solids stored in the tank are decomposed by bacteria and later pumped out. After partially treated wastewater leaves the tank, it flows into a distribution box, which separates this flow evenly into a network of drainfield trenches. Drainage holes at the bottom of each line allow the wastewater to drain into gravel trenches for temporary storage. This effluent then slowly seeps into the subsurface soil where it is further treated and purified. Your system must be maintained and used correctly to ensure that it is doing its job correctly. Our client’s septic Distribution Box (D-Box) is no longer working so we are replacing it. We can locate and remove the old box and install the new d-box with minimum disruption to our client. We also have additional septic repairs today in Berkley, Norton, Dighton, Middleboro and Raynham MA. If you have a septic system concern or you need us to investigate a septic problem or you have questions about your septic system please do contact us at our Norton office on 508 763 4431 or visit All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services
All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services have expertise in many areas so that we can bring our customers the best possible septic services. For example we need landscaping and plant knowledge because septic systems, very often, are located in a customers yard with the landscaping and planting as one would expect. However it is this landscaping that can cause problems. For example trees often have root systems that go far beyond where a homeowner expected when they first planted a tree seedling. Roots can infiltrate a septic drain field and really cause a lot of trouble. Roots even tend to grow toward drain fields because it is their job to find water for the tree. Today we are providing a drain field septic repair for a customer in Attleboro MA whose tree roots have caused damage to the piping that is necessary for their leach field to work correctly. It is really advisable to only have grass growing on your leach field and not plant large bushes or trees on it to prevent these sorts of septic repairs being necessary. We also have other septic repair appointments in North Attleboro, Wrentham, Franklin, Bellingham and Blackstone MA. If you require a septic repair or if you have any questions about septic systems please do contact our Norton office on 508 763 4431 or visit All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services

“ Condominiums with 5 or more units – all systems must be inspected every 3 years”

We schedule quarterly, biannual or annual appointments with our customers who are on our preventative maintenance plans so we can monitor and maintain their septic systems. The regularity of septic services depends on the customer, their needs and the type of system that they have. Today we have septic services scheduled for customers in Rochester, Seekonk, Fall River, Freetown and Swansea MA. If you would be interested in our preventative maintenance program or wish to schedule a septic service or have questions contact our Norton office on 508 763 4431 or visit All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services
All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services knows that regular maintenance is the single most important consideration in making sure your septic system, whether it is a conventional septic system, an innovative/alternative system, or a cesspool, works well over time. Regular septic pumping helps prevent solids from escaping into the drainfield and clogging soil pores. It is advisable to have your septic pumped every 3 – 5 years depending on various factors including the size of your tank and the water usage of your property. If you have a garbage disposal you will need to have your system pumped much more regularly, ideally annually.
Surprisingly some property owners with septic systems do not realise that septic systems need to be regular septic pumping and believe that if they haven’t had any problems then their system doesn’t need a pump out. Unfortunately this is a serious and sometimes costly misconception. As your system is used, solid materials settle to the bottom of the tank, forming a sludge layer. Grease and lightweight materials float to the surface of the septic tank as scum. Normally, properly designed tanks have enough space for up to three to five years’ safe accumulation of sludge. When the sludge level increases beyond this point, sewage has less time to settle properly before leaving the tank. As the sludge level increases, more solid wastes escape into the soil absorption system (SAS). If the SAS becomes so clogged that it cannot absorb liquid at the rate at which it enters the tank, the plumbing will “back up” or unsanitary wastewater will bubble to the surface. Nobody wants this to happen at their property, whether it is a private residence or commercial location so make sure that if you have a septic system that you have it regularly pumped and if you do not know if it is needed please do contact us where we will be happy to speak to you. We have septic pumping scheduled for customers today in Sharon, Marshfield, Hingham, Hanson, Stoughton and Hanover MA. If you wish to schedule a septic pump out or if you have any questions about septic system maintenance, septic pumping or your septic system please do contact our Norton, MA office on 508-763-4431 or visit All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services
All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services are always here to help homeowners with their septic problems. However you need to be aware that you have a septic problem before you know that you need someone to come and fix it.
Some signs of a septic issue are:
- Muddy soil or pools of wastewater around your septic tank or soil absorption system.
- Very green or lush grass a vegetation on your leach field or near your septic tank.
- Sewage smells around your system or inside your house.
- Backups when you do laundry, take showers, or flush the toilet.
If you see these signs it is never a good idea to wait to have them looked at. A small septic problem with an easy and inexpensive repair can become a much larger, more expensive and more disruptive problem if left unaddressed. We have extensive experience locating and repairing septic problems. We have septic repairs scheduled today in Acushnet, Freetown, Lakeville, Norton and Rochester MA.
