Voluntary Septic Assessments Provide Confidential Information On Your Septic System

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services conduct many septic inspections for people who are selling or sometimes buying property with a septic system. We also provide septic inspections for Condominium Buildings that are required to have septic inspections every 3 years. We also, however, provide voluntary septic assessments for property owners who are not ‘required’ to have an inspection but choose to have an assessment because they want to know the condition of their septic system. Many property owners are unaware that they have the ability to hire a licensed inspector to perform confidential voluntary septic assessments of their septic systems. These inspections are completed just as they would be according to the Title 5 Inspections required by the State of Massachusetts, but the findings are NOT reported to any other person, municipality or office outside of the homeowner. Once the inspection is complete, the homeowner will receive a thorough report from All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services along with an assessment of the findings and some recommendations on how to properly maintain or repair their septic system. The recommendations provided by All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services are designed to increase longevity and prevent future issues, such as property damage, high cost repairs or system replacement. Today we are carrying out a voluntary septic assessment for a homeowner in Norton MA. We also have ‘regular’ Title 5 Septic Inspections in Berkley, Dighton, Carver, Taunton and Bridgewater MA. If you require a septic inspection or assessment or if you have any questions about septic systems please do contact our Norton office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://allclearseptic.com/education/

Voluntary Septic Inspections Give You An Assessment Of The Condition Of Your System

All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services conducts hundreds of septic inspections each year for property owners who are selling their home or business and are on town sewer. This is because in the state of Massachusetts a septic inspection is required:

“Within 2 years before a sale. If weather conditions prevent inspection at the time of a sale, the inspection must take place within 6 months afterward”

For more information see: https://www.mass.gov/guides/buying-or-selling-property-with-a-septic-system

However not all inspections that we carryout are for people who are selling a property. We have a voluntary septic inspection today for a property owner in Westport MA who wants to have a greater understanding of the condition of their septic system. As specified on the Mass Gov website:

“A system owner may choose voluntarily to have an assessment of the condition of the system even if there is no requirement for an inspection. Results of these voluntary assessments are solely for the use of the owner, and do not need to be submitted to local Boards of Health or MassDEP.”

We also have septic inspections today in Marion, Mattapoisett, Fall River, New Bedford and Rehoboth MA. If you require a septic inspection, for any reason, or if you have questions about your septic system please do contact us at our Norton Office on 508-763-4431 or visit http://www.allclearseptic.com

Voluntary Assessment Septic Inspection

voluntary assessment All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services have septic inspections scheduled today in Bolton, Berlin, Clinton, Hudson, Stow, and Marlborough, MA.

The majority of our inspections are done on behalf of a client who is selling their property and are required to have an inspection done on their septic system.  However, some inspections are done, including one of our septic ‘inspections’ today, when a property is not being sold.  This type of inspection is actually called a Voluntary Assessment.  All of the same steps as an inspection will be taken, however the 17-page document will NOT be sent to your local approving authority – it is for your information only.

A Voluntary Assessment is a great way to find out more about your own septic system.  All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services highly recommends this to our clients, as a means of properly maintaining, upgrading, and repairing your system to prolong its life.

Ask us about additional services we can provide to ensure the proper working of your septic system and if you wish to schedule an inspection or voluntary assessment.   If  you have any questions, please do contact our Norton Office at 508-763-4431 or visit www.allclearseptic.com
