All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services know that as it gets colder and winter tightens its grip on us nobody wants to be working outside or even consider exterior projects. However people do still move house and sell property even in the middle of winter. If you are selling a property in Massachusetts with a septic system that is not on town sewer you are required to have a septic inspection before Title Transfer can take place. However the state of Massachusetts acknowledge that in New England weather can sometimes make this difficult so as stated on the Massachusetts Official Website of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs:
‘ If weather conditions preclude inspection at the time of transfer, the inspection may be completed as soon as weather permits, but in no event later than six months after the transfer, provided that the seller notifies the buyer in writing’
At All Clear Septic and Wastewater Services we will always endeavour to carry out your septic inspection as scheduled but if the weather does prevent us from doing your septic inspection we have sufficient inspectors that we can reschedule your appointment as soon as the weather has cleared. Today we have septic inspections in Lakeville, Rochester, Freetown, Marion and Mattapoisett MA. If you need a septic inspection or if you have any questions about septic systems or inspections please do contact us on 508-763-4431 or visit www.allclearseptic.com
